Biography
Welcome to Tye Y Fitness! I'm Tyler Kearney, a dedicated personal trainer, coach, and fitness enthusiast with a passion for helping others unlock their full potential. With over seven years of experience in personal training and a bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Production, I combine technical expertise with the ability to connect and motivate. I'm currently pursuing my master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, set to graduate in April, which equips me with the latest knowledge in human performance and wellness.
My journey into fitness and coaching stems from my own experiences as an athlete and coach. I’ve played basketball at the high school and collegiate levels and coached athletes ranging from youth to professionals. These experiences, alongside my personal journey overcoming injuries—including hip labrum surgery and working through post-rehab—have shaped my philosophy on resilience, dedication, and continuous improvement.
Outside of the gym, you’ll find me refining my golf swing (I’m working towards becoming a scratch golfer), coaching middle school basketball, and creating fitness content.
